Family and friends were walking past the coffin to view the body of 34 year old Brighton Dama Zanthe, when one of them noticed the dead man’s legs moving.

One of the mourners, Lot Gaka, who is Zanthe’s employer at his transport company, said:

“I was the first to notice Zanthe’s moving legs as I was in the queue to view his body. This shocked me. We called an ambulance immediately. It’s a miracle and people are still in disbelief.”

Zanthe had been sick for some time and was laid to rest inside a coffin last Monday after “dying” at home the day before. Zanthe said he has no recollection of how he “died” nor how he was ressurected as his memory only returned when he woke up in a hospital in Gweru 140 miles southwest of Zimbabwe’s capital Harare.

Zanthe said told Zimbabwean newspaper The Chronicle he does not remember his apparent death or the subsequent funeral. He said what he can remember after being at his home is waking up at the hospital.

Zanthe is quoted as saying—“Everything is history to me. What I can only confirm is that people gathered at my house to mourn but I was given another chance and I am alive. I feel OK now.”

What in the WORLD would you do if this happened at a funeral you attended?
