On the New Destiny Christian Center’s Facebook page, they often cited Matthew 7:1-2, which states “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”
As we previously reported, Florida mega-church Pastor Zachery Tims was found dead in a hotel in New York City last Friday. The police do not suspect foul play and believe he was alone at the time of his death.
Rep. Corrine Brown said Tims was “preparing” to preach in the New York area last week but she didn’t know where he had planned to speak or whom he had met in the city. She said Tims had also traveled to California, Chicago and Tampa in recent weeks for meetings and appearances.
