Hello Co Co Brother. My name is Cameron Williams and i am a Valdosta State University student from Atlanta (College Park). You’ve met me before when my church, New Mercies Christian Church with Elder Marquis Boone as our youth pastor, came up there to the radio station. I used to follow you even back in your 97.5 days when you had the 6 pm time spot. Just like you, I was in the fast life, clubbing, cussing, and partying, but all that changed last May, when i gave my life COMPLETELY OVER TO GOD, and i haven’t turned back sense.
Down here in Valdosta, not as much goes on as it does in Atlanta, and I want that to change. I want this city’s youth to be on fire for God like Atlanta’s is. What i was wondering was if there is a way that we can throw some ideas back and forth for an Exodus-type of event for the youth down here in South GA, where I can promote that same type of change in the youth that you inspired and pushed into me? You don’t have to come down here but if i can just get some of your time to know how you were able to et it up and what is necessary to do, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Dear CoCo Brother,
My name is Kayla Daniels and I had a blessed time at Exodus and I plan on coming every year that the Lord allows me to come. I really love your show and it taught me how to keep God first and be faithful to his word and most of all not to doubt him. I’m saying this because on Friday night as my brother, my god sister, and I were headed to Exodus when we were in a minor car accident. We were so shaken up that we were going to turn around and head back home, but a song on the radio changed our mind. It said, “This joy that I have, the world didn’t give it to me. This joy that I have, the world didn’t give it and the world can’t take it away.” So we figured this was God’s way of saying “don’t let anyone take your joy or spirit away from you.” So we came and we had a blessed time and we rededicated our life to Christ that night. So in closing thank you for your inspirational words and your faith and dedication to the Lord. You are setting a great example and I appreciate all that you’ve done.
