Victory World Church

VIA: AJC.com

Victory World Church in Norcross this weekend will kick off a month-long commemoration of its 20 years of ministry.

The church, which ministers to an average of 7,400 people each weekend, will commence the celebration by honoring its multiculturalism at services Saturday and Sunday. The church will conduct a parade of nations featuring flags and flag bearers representing more than 100 nations within the congregation.

“When we first started in 1990, it was nearly unheard of for a church to be intentional in reaching across cultural boundaries,” founding pastor Dennis Rouse said. “We love what Victory looks like now, with all the cultures worshipping together. It’s a picture of what heaven will look like.”

The church, at 5905 Brook Hollow Parkway, has service times at 6 p.m. on Saturday and 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Victory has been my home church for the last 5 years. I’m so proud to be part of church family that embraces so many different cultures , we’re truly a family at VWC
