As we previously reported, Marvin Sapp’s wife and manager, MaLinda Sapp, passed away today after a battle with colon cancer.
MaLinda Sapp is a name that was unknown to many of Marvin Sapp’s biggest fans. But those who operate behind the scenes just didn’t know her as his wife, but as the woman who managed one of Gospel’s biggest artists.
In addition to earning respect for her management and negotiating skills, Dr. Malinda Sapp was also a college professor, the Administrative Pastor of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church, executive producer, limited licensed psychologist, licensed professional counselor, powerful public speaker and mother of Marvin II, Mikaila and Madisson.
Despite her busy schedule, MaLinda Sapp found time to give back. She founded Travail Ministries to help women make it through hard times and come closer to Christ.
Unfortunately, it was MaLinda Sapp’s illness and untimely death this morning (September 9th) that put her on people’s radar. But she was a woman of faith who accomplished much in her forty-plus years on Earth.
