Veda Howard was born with humor flowing through her veins. Initially clueless of this gift, she would often wonder why people were laughing at her when she was merely trying to communicate basic information. She finally embraced the inevitable, it was time to grab the mic and spread some joy. Since stepping to the microphone, she performed at comedy clubs, festivals the One Love Gospel Cruise, the national Family Comedy Tour and various other events.

Veda can currently be seen on HAHAlujah!, an online weekly comedy video feature for Praise 102.5 and heard on air Saturdays from 3pm-7pm. She also sprinkles funny in the atmosphere with HAHAlujah! Comedy Breaks on CoCo Brother Live’s nationally syndicated radio show in forty-seven markets.

In addition to her love of laughter, Veda is also a gifted vocalist. She performed on Oprah Winfrey’s 2007 “My Favorite Things” episode with a gospel choir singing background for Warner Bros. recording artist, Josh Groban. Veda’s voice can be heard on jingles and voice over work. She has worked in the music industry for over 15 years and has enjoyed producing events nationally and internationally featuring such artists as Stevie Wonder, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, Natalie Cole, Brian McKnight, Yolanda Adams, the O’Jays, Take 6, Shirley Caesar, Usher and others. Raised in southern New Jersey, Veda Howard is a graduate of Hampton University.
