The Soul Train Awards are leaving Atlanta for Las Vegas.
Held in Atlanta the past three years, the awards show will move to Las Vegas this year because Centric, the network that produces the event, is creating a three-day “experience” based around the show. The three-day affair will likely feature comedy shows and concert performances in addition to the awards ceremony.
Centric hasn’t ruled out returning the Soul Train Awards to Atlanta in the future.
