Today marks the 19th annual National HIV Testing Day. I spent time with the AID Atlanta staff at the Underground Atlanta testing location. Testing is done in conjuncton with the CDC (Centers for Disease Control). Free HIV testing is available all over the country. This day is set aside every year to give an extra push of encouragement, stressing the importance of getting  tested. The CDC recommends that everyone ages 13- 64 be tested for HIV at least once. More than 1 million people are living with HIV in the United States but 1 in 5 don’t know they’re infected. For more information on other FREE testing sites, please call 800-551-2728 or visit http://hivtest.org

Your Praise 102.5 family inspires you but we also want to EMPOWER you… Take charge, take the test!
