George Zimmerman, the self-appointed neighborhood watchman who killed unarmed Trayvon Martin, has turned himself into authorities and is currently in custody in Florida, according to CNN.

The office of a Florida state attorney who is investigating the Trayvon Martin shooting plans to announce new information in the case at 6 p.m. ET Wednesday.
