Moment of transparency here. God revealed something to me at the top of the year that greatly impacted me. He made it clear that there was more He had for me but couldn’t release because I simply wasn’t ready. It wasn’t that I had to earn it. It was already mine. I just hadn’t proven that I could handle it. There were some things I didn’t make a priority to address in my life and take dominion over because I didn’t think they were THAT big a deal and plus, I was still so amazingly blessed! Truth is, we will always be blessed because we are God’s sons and daughters. The question is … what KIND of blessing can He trust us with? God will never promote you to president if he can’t trust you at whatever lower office you currently hold. Steward WELL where you are. In the bible, David got an audience with the king, a chance to kill Goliath, and subsequently become king because he FIRST killed the lion and the bear that tried to take his daddy’s sheep. Be excellent on YOUR level and God will ensure the next one will come.
Luke 12:42-44 And the Lord said, ‘Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.
