I’ve said it before. ‘The church building is a hospital, so don’t be surprised when you see people there that need help’. Though this is true, it’s not the whole truth. It’s a bit of a selfish perspective. You typically don’t go to hospitals when you are well, and you shouldn’t ‘just’ go to church when you’re in dire need of help. The church is designed to be a community that functions like a body. Sometimes we GET help, but sometimes we GIVE help. We are held together by what we supply EACH OTHER. So don’t miss church just because everything is cool with you. Go to church because someone (not God) needs what you have to offer. Whether your role is big or small, YOU are needed to keep us all together!

Ephesians 4:16 – Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly, and each part in its own special way helps the other parts, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
