Grammy ® Award- nominated, Dove, Stellar, GMWA, NAACP Image Award-Winning Singer Dottie Peoples performed in front of a sold-out crowd Saturday May 18th at the 2013 Fellowship Luncheon in Orlando, FL, which benefits the Odessa Chambliss Quality Of Life Fund. As the headlining performer at the event, Dottie Peoples and her incomparable music helped honor the life of Odessa Chambliss, nurse and matriarch of the Lucille O’Neal family and grandmother of famed basketball MVP, Shaquille O’Neal. Her battle with ovarian cancer inspired the inception of the Odessa Chambliss Quality Of Life Fund.

“As the oldest of 10 children and being blessed that my mother is still alive, it really touched my heart to see how Lucille O’Neal is keeping the memory of her mother alive through this foundation,” reflects Peoples (pictured above right, with Lucille O’Neal). “The Odessa Chambliss Quality Of Life Fund helps so many people. Odessa blessed so many lives throughout her 16 year career as a nursing professional, and she is still bettering the lives of others today through her foundation. It was an honor to be a part of such a special event.”
