We have heard it over and over again.  Many of us are anxious to broaden our influence in ministry and we keep speaking that we will go “To the Nations.” Do you really have what it takes to be effective in other nations?  Take a look at your ministry and evaluate what you are doing.

  1. Does the sound that comes from you and your ministry reflect global significance?
  2. Whose life is changing as a result of your ministry and who does it affect?
  3. Do you speak in a way that people beyond your community can understand?
  4. Do you have international appeal in your imaging?

I believe that we are to go out into the world and teach all nations.  However there are many of us who are really most effective in the local community yet seek to gain more territory for the erroneous motives.  Some would like to minister internationally because it simply gives them international credibility fro the purpose of gaining a more prominent status.  I believe that in this day and time in the Kingdom of God, it is more important for us to be effective with the people God trusts us to minister to. For those who are called to the nations, the Lord will equip you and your ministry to reach the nations.  You will be equipped mentally, physically, with the proper staff, you will have the right vision, and you won’t struggle financially to get it done.  Many struggles on our lives and families we bring on ourselves when we are misaligned with the real purpose that we have been called to.  My prayer is that we find contentment and balance with our lives in ministry and that the ones we minister to are edified, our families are fortified and more than anything our Lord is glorified as a result of our existence in the right place.
